All to play for entering the final round

Going into the final round of the season, the league table is as close as it’s been in many years with four sides in with a chance to win the Premiers Plate. The last time something like this happened was in 2007-08 season when Central Coast Mariners won their first Premiership ahead of Newcastle Jets, Sydney FC and Brisbane Roar.

This time around Brisbane are involved again and are joined by Adelaide United, Western Sydney Wanderers and Melbourne City in the chase for the Premiership.

It’s not just at the top however where there’s still things to play for entering the final round, with the only certainties being that Sydney FC will end the season in 7th and Central Coast Mariners will finish 10th.

Before going through the scenarios and potential finishing positions of each club, here’s the table entering round 27.
