Sydney FC’s 100% winning record for their Westfield W-League and Foxtel National Youth League teams will be put to the test when they do battle with their respective opponents at WIN Stadium, Wollongong tomorrow. Melbourne Victory scored a late double to win 2-0 in the National Youth League’s installment of the Melbourne Derby at Lakeside Stadium. Andrew Nabbout opened the scoring 86 minutes in with a volleyed effort on goal, soon after in the 91st minute he produced a cut back for Jesse Makarounas who sealed the three points for the reigning Champions. Central Coast Mariners Foxtel National Youth League (NYL) Head Coach Patrick Zwaanswijk has finalised his squad for the 2013/14 season, with a host of locally groomed youngsters set to don the Coast’s colours this campaign. No less than seven players who featured in the Club’s Academy system in 2013 have been re-signed or promoted to the Mariners’ Foxtel NYL ranks.
