Sydney FC and partner StarTrack will dedicate a special bay to the club’s Movember campaign when they play Wellington Phoenix at Allianz Stadium this Saturday night (ko. 5.30pm) to raise awareness of men’s health issues.
Members and supporters who are growing their own ‘Mo’ for Movember are encouraged to sit in the StarTrack Bay 32 at Allianz Stadium on Saturday night to show off their growth.
One hundred free sky blue wigs will be handed out to those in the bay to ensure they aren’t missed by the Fox Sports TV cameras and photographers at the ground.
Sydney FC is also giving away 200 free tickets for the StarTrack Bay 32 to fans who email in their MoSpace to firstname.lastname@example.org.
“It’s a great cause and with beyondblue being a charitable partner of Sydney FC, one that we are very proud and happy to support,” said Sydney FC midfielder Terry McFlynn.
Twelve of Sydney FC’s first team squad are growing their mo’s to raise vital funds for prostate and testicular cancer and mental health.
“It would be fantastic to see lots of our Members and fans supporting Movember and showing off their mo’s as well on Saturday night,” McFlynn continued.
Theo Triantafillides, Director of Sales and Marketing, StarTrack said: “StarTrack is proud to support Sydney FC and their efforts to raise funds for prostate and testicular cancer and mental health during the annual Movember campaign.
“This worthy initiative is a fun and engaging way to raise awareness and greater understanding of men’s health issues both on and off the field.
“So get behind Sydney FC and help make a difference.”
